Since her appearance in “Sing,” fans have recognized Scarlett Johansson’s ability to belt out a tune, but recently, she proved her singing chops in the country genre in a duet with Craig Campbell at a USO tour stop in Afghanistan. The beautiful star proved her ability when she performed as part of Campbell’s “Woman Cover Wednesday,” belting out the lyrics in a Country version of “These Boots Are Made for Walkin’,” originally done by Nancy Sinatra.

Campbell had a little bit of trouble remembering some of the words to the song, but Johansson helped him along and led the way allowing the duet to work their way through with humor and charisma. Campbell, who has been signed by Bigger Picture Music Group, has had two CD releases and seven singles on the country charts. Alongside Johansson, the video is a hit, and together they help a good cause.

Fun fact: In 2009, Scarlett Johansson released an album titled “Break Up” with singer/songwriter Pete Yorn. This duet marked the first time she has tried her talent in the Country music arena, however, and although it’s not punk rock (Johansson’s character in ‘Sing’ is a crested porcupine who rocks it out), she’s definitely a natural!
