For one show only, Thursday, June 16 at 7:30 pm, country music star Gene Watson and his “Farewell Party Band” will be playing in the Texas Hill Country.

“The Singer’s Singer”

The Cailloux Theater in Kerrville will host the show for fans of Gene Watson, a.k.a. “The Singer’s Singer”. Known for such hits as “Love in the Hot Afternoon”, “Fourteen Carat Mind” and of course, “Farewell Party” (for which his band is named), Watson’s signature style is considered one of solid country and he continues to carry that forward in current recordings with stars such as Rhonda Vincent as well as CD releases in 2012, 2014, and just this year.

Feeling Right At Home

Continuing to play what he considers to be real country music and perform for his fans (who clearly feel the same way!), this Palestine, TX, native enjoys his visits to the Hill Country. In a phone interview with Cailloux Theater and Full House Productions, Watson stated, “The most important thing to me is my fans. I pay particular attention to them–because they are what keeps me on the road.”
