If you hurry, you might still be able to get tickets for Culinaria, San Antonio’s highly-anticipated, week-long wine and food festival highlighting excellence in the culinary arts. Dining out in San Antonio is always a delight for patrons thanks to the city’s plethora of options, especially when your meal is paired with one of the great Texas Hill Country wines. However, few dining experiences compare to the amazing offerings you’ll find at the Culinaria Wine+Food Festival, which takes place May 17-20 this year. The only problem you’ll have with this event is how you’ll manage to eat and drink your way to the end without resorting to your “big pants.”
With something to satisfy everyone’s tastes, the festival includes a host of events ranging from food trucks to fine dining, coupled with tastings for local beer, wine, and champagne. Culinaria is an independent, not-for-profit organization, which is dedicated to promoting San Antonio as the premier wine and food destination that it is. Holding a variety of events over the course of a year (5K Wine and Beer Run, San Antonio Restaurant Week, and Culinaria Wine and Food Festival), the proceeds benefit their mission, such as providing culinary scholarships and the development of the Culinaria Farm.
