Making decisions isn’t easy for some. If your strengths lay in eating cool, sweet treats and not in the picking of them, then Dairy Queen has you covered—for the month of May. They’re offering mini Blizzard flights for those times when you’re unable to choose which one to try. As a part of their new Summer Treat Menu, we’d have to say that ranks right up there with the shakes, sundaes, and cones we traditionally visit them for!

The cool delights franchise announced their Summer Treat Menu earlier this year, which includes an assortment of thought-provoking, sweet and sensational cooling dessert options you’ll be rushing to get in line for. There are a couple of new creations you may want to get in on, in addition to the favorites you’ve come to know and love from Dairy Queen, but these new mini Blizzard treat flights take the guess-work out of the equation. And less time deciding means more time to enjoy those sweet soft-serve creations. In a company news release, Maria Hokanson, Executive Vice President of Marketing for American Dairy Queen Corporation, said, “We aim to serve up happy food, treats and experiences every time fans visit our restaurants. From cups to cones and creamy to crunchy, our new Summer Treat Menu will take fans on a flavor adventure — no sunscreen or life vests required!”

Dairy Queen customers now have the option to try the flight of three different blizzard flavors over the month of May. For a limited time, you can spend their spring afternoons or evenings savoring the sweet delights as opposed to stressing over what to get when you reach the head of the line. The choices (always difficult to make) include the OREO Cookie Jar Blizzard, the Caramel Cannonball Blizzard, the Cotton Candy Blizzard, the Brownie Dough Blizzard, the S’mores Blizzard, and the Summer Berry Cheesecake Blizzard.

The very first Dairy Queen Blizzard (as we know it) was offered to patrons in 1985, and since then, it’s sold more than 100 million in popular flavors that include M&Ms, Reese’s Peanut Butter Cups, and even Butterfinger, to name a few. They also serve seasonal flavors such as a pumpkin pie version in the month of October. In 2010, the company introduced the mini-sized Blizzard, and the franchises have kept right on filling orders as fast as you can make them! Texas Dairy Queens also feature food offerings other Dairy Queens haven’t had available, but then, we always knew we were a little bit special! Get into your local Dairy Queen for a great meal and an even greater dessert option with the limited-time mini Blizzard flights. It’s the cool springtime treat choice you won’t have to stress about making.
