Launched on September 7, the One America Appeal was developed by the five living former U.S. presidents who aired a joint Public Service Announcement (PSA) during the NFL’s regular-season opening broadcast in conjunction with a website kick-off for the accepting of tax-deductible donations at OneAmericaAppeal.org. Originally inspired to come together following Hurricane Harvey and the devastation that was wreaked on the state of Texas, the former presidents have since expanded their efforts to include recovery for Florida from Hurricane Irma, as well as the U.S. Virgin Islands and in Puerto Rico from Hurricane Maria. The George H. W. Bush Presidential Library Foundations has established a special restricted account for the purpose of collecting and distributing the donations to assist the victims of these hurricanes, sending aid to places such as the Houston Harvey Relief Fund, the Rebuild Texas Fund, the Florida Disaster Fund, the Fund for the Virgin Islands, and the Juntos y Unidos Por Puerto Rico.

So grab your friends and join us at Reed Arena on October 21st for what promises to be a truly unforgettable night – that also helps a lot of Americans.”
