With the holiday season quickly approaching, you’ll want to get your hands on a quick and easy but uniquely tasty recipe, one that will fit the bill for an upcoming potluck lunch, or gathering of family and friends. A Texas passion for all-things-dill and/or jalapeno is something you might want to keep in mind. This is why Dillapeno Dip makes perfect sense!
Posted on the Texas Recipes Facebook page, this tasty little number will satisfy your chip-dipper or even a cracker fan. It also goes great on a sandwich if there are any leftovers! Dillapeno Dip is a creation blended together using cream cheese, dill weed, and of course, jalapeno, among other things. Aside from removing the seeds from the jalapeno and having to perhaps chill this dip for no less than an hour before serving, it’s relatively simple and fast to prepare. The post suggests serving this with crackers (most likely due to the consistency of the dip), but a sturdy potato chip would also do the trick! Your local H-E-B will have everything you’ll need to whip things up, unless you want to try a farmers market as well. They could produce some fresh product which is also grown locally to boot!
