If you were looking to add a jar of field dirt to your collection of Astros memorabilia, hopefully, you caught the auction on the MLB website early. Fans who wanted a unique part of Astros history could purchase dirt from the Dodgers Stadium field in which the Astros won the World Series on. Though the size of the jar is unspecified on the website, it’s large enough to have a front and back sticker stating the importance of its contents seen here, but was still described as “small” by Sporting News.

The bottles of dirt were priced at $49.99 and required an $8.99 shipping fee, but that didn’t stop fans from clicking “Buy Now” as quickly as they could, hoping that their favorite player happened to set foot on the historic dirt.

And for bidders who are looking for a one-of-a-kind item that they can be sure the Astros came in direct contact with, there’s a significantly pricier item up for bid –  the first base used during the first two innings of game seven of the World Series. The bidding started at $25, and it’s already up to $1,000. Watch the link for the next week to see how high the bidding goes on this piece of memorabilia!
