The Dress Shop on Cherry Tree Lane inside of Marketplace Co-Op in Disney Springs isn’t your typical Disney souvenir store. What really sets the boutique apart is its sophisticated styles and nostalgic designs that might have some people Googling “who is Orange Bird?” (According to Theme Park Tourist, he’s a sponsorship icon with a long and convoluted history.)

Orange Bird, along with Tiki Room, Hollywood Tower of Terror, The Haunted Mansion, and Mary Poppins themed designs might not be instantly recognizable upon first glance, but the outfits and accessories (like necklaces, hats and even gloves) draw detailed elements from the theme park rides or films they’re based on to create a colorful ode to Disney.

Disney Parks quoted merchandiser Donna Sorrow in their blog as saying, “We designed The Dress Shop collection for guests who want to emulate their favorite Disney characters or theme park attractions in a fun, retro way. These items aren’t costumes, rather the collection contains perfect outfits for guests who have a passion for Disney style.”

Of course, they recommend picking out a dress to wear while at the theme parks, but the fun party dresses can be worn anywhere a gal wants to strike up conversation about her interesting garment.
