Mutts Canine Cantina is the Texas dog park restaurant you’ve been daydreaming about. At this Dallas-Fort Worth eatery (with two locations) you can take your furry friend, grab an amazing bite to eat, maybe get a beer, and then play with your pal in their amazing dog park! Bringing your four-legged friends for a family meal just makes sense, now doesn’t it?

Zagat previously covered this North Texas property saying, “Order burgers, hot dogs and cocktails off the menu at this Uptown dog park restaurant… Dine at the picnic tables then fetch an ice-cold beer before retreating to the play area with your furry pals.” The first of its kind in the area (perhaps in the state), it has long been a huge hit with those who love to dine with their dogs.

Mutts Canine Cantina has a dog-friendly patio where pets and their people can socialize together. They also feature two separate parks for playful dogs who are over or under 30 lbs. in weight. To attend, all dogs must be a minimum of four months of age, be fixed, and have up-to-date vaccinations. To make things a little more convenient for those who are taking their pets to play, there are bathing stations available on-site, in order that your dog doesn’t track muddy paw prints throughout your car, truck, or home afterward.

In case you were wondering about the menu, they feature a great selection of American cuisine, including some mouthwatering sandwiches, burgers, and fries. They also have a breakfast menu for those who love to take their pooch for an early morning meal and playtime. Aside from shakes and pop, Mutts Canine Cantina is equipped with a full-service bar featuring beer, cocktails, and wine. They offer your pets some great gourmet doggy treats such as beef franks and something called “Pupsicles,” because, hello, Texas—it gets hot around here! They’re known for hosting great dog birthday parties, and for the humans who tag along, there’s also a regular event schedule, including yoga! It’ll leave your taste buds barking for more. Other favorites include breakfast tacos, burgers, and a wide selection of cocktails.
