Proud Little Dog Sets a New World Record for Popping Balloons

By  |

It’s a proud day for America – a Jack Russell Terrier from California named Twinkie has claimed the record for “Fastest Time to Pop 100 Balloons By a Dog” at 39.08 seconds!

Twinkie snactched this record from the United Kingdom’s Cally The Wonder Dog who completed the task in 41.67 seconds on the television talent show “Britain’s Got Talent.”

According to the Guinness World Records Facebook page, Twinkie comes from a balloon popping dynasty as Twinkie’s mom, Anastasia, once held the record herself.

Twinkie was focused and ready to get popping when the record-breaking event was held. A crowd watched while the tiny dog quickly went after the red balloons with a skill and an attack plan only Twinkie could know.

The way the terrier wags its little tail and seems to grin once it has completed its task is too cute! It seems like Twinkie knew that world record was within reach.
