Don’t Miss Deutschen Pfest in Pflugerville This Weekend!
Every year, on the third weekend in May, Pflugerille puts on a festival like no other to celebrate its German heritage. Deutschen Pfest is the most popular and fun-packed festival the city puts on all year, so you won’t want to miss it! There will be amazing music, fun carnival rides, a Miss Pflugerville Pageant, a 5k Pfun Run, a parade, and tons of awesome food and vendors. Head over to Pfluger Park to join in on the fun. Admission cost is $5.00 Friday and Sunday, and $7.00 on Saturday. Children 6 and under are free. Here is the line-up:

5 p.m.: Park opens with carnival rides, live music, and fun.
6:45 – 8:45 p.m.: Trick Shot is sure to get your body rockin’ with everything from classic to modern rock hits.
9:30 p.m. – Midnight: Suede takes the stage with a performance that has been described as explosive and energizing.

10 a.m.: The Duetschen Pfest Parade
10:30 – 12:30: Get your polka on with Oma & Ompah. They also perform waltzes, schottisches, and modern German favorites.
12 p.m. noon: Opening ceremony, Texas Juggling
12:30: Children’s area opens with puppet shows, a petting farm, and bounce houses. Get a good taste of German folk music, yodeling, and cowbells from Yodel Blitz, or check out the youngsters of Celle Middle School Jazz Band play a few jazzy tunes.
2 – 3 p.m.: Connor and Camille, Lone Star Dance at 2:30 p.m.
3 – 6 p.m.: Take a peak at the Seven Dutchmen Orchestra. At 5 p.m. uplift your spirits with some family-friendly and spiritual rock tunes by Pflame, a Pflugerville based band.
6:45 – 8:45 p.m.: unDiskovered will deliver a good time with a huge variety of music from country, classic rock, Motown, Latin, and R&B.
9:45 – Midnight: Austin band Micky and the Motorcars will rev up your engine with some smokin’ Rock ‘n’ Roll.

11 a.m.: Festival opens
11:30 a.m. – 1:30 p.m.: Looking to add some soul/rock, folk-funk, with a dash of rhythm and blues to your life? Lisa Mitchell will deliver just that!
1:30 – 1:45 p.m.: See if you can’t clog along with Clickety Cloggers and their Appalachian-style clogging.
2:30 – 5 p.m.: The Eggmen pay tribute to the Beatles.
5 p.m.: The Pfestival closes, until next year that is!
