The Ellen Show gave away a once-in-lifetime experience to some lucky winners at the University of Houston to go to a World Series game. “Ellen rallied thousands of Houston Astros fans in Texas to give them a chance to cheer on their team at the World Series,” shared The Ellen Show YouTube channel below.

Ellen made a mysterious announcement on Monday, October 23 through her Twitter account referring to the most sought-after ticket in town. “I’m giving away something huge at @UHouston tomorrow. I’m not gonna tell you what it is. (#WorldSeries tickets.)”

Fans young and old came in droves as Ellen finally shared on Tuesday, October 24 around noon to be at UH by 3:30 p.m. for the start of the segment which would air on Wednesday’s show. “Attention all @UHouston students. You have 3 hours til you need to be at the E. Cullen building and be on my show,” shared Ellen in a tweet.

She rallied folks to be sure to be decked out in their “biggest outfit” for the chance to win tickets to one of the World Series games. Since we do everything bigger in Texas, fans did not disappoint and an array of students could be seen in their biggest and best gear cheering on the Astros.

“The winners were biology freshman Jesus Quiroga, computer information systems freshman Damian Falcon and human resource development and pre-law freshman Tahj Bell dressed up in inflatable bull costumes and called themselves ‘The Three Young Bulls,'” shared thedailycougar.com.
