Adding salt to beer has a long-standing history. With the wide range of flavored salts available now, the taste is still in demand. 8th Wonder Brewery, based in Houston, has taken this a step further to create a gose called Haterade. Gose is a sour wheat beer which has become increasingly popular in the United States, and 8th Wonder Brewery’s version is sure to tickle any lover of the salty and sour combo! Haterade Gose is aged in tequila barrels and can be found on draft, in kegs, and in cans throughout Houston, San Antonio, and southeast Texas but this 4-pack treat is seasonal, and production will cease in September. Honky Tonk Foodie found her cans at Total Wine at The Rim in San Antonio.
