Garth Brooks keeps giving fans more and more reasons to love him. USA Today reports that during a show in a huge stadium in Oklahoma City, Brooks played his hit “Unanswered Prayers.” While the song played, a man from Bedford, Texas used the perfect opportunity to propose to his girlfriend. Of course, the crowd around the newly engaged couple in the stadium seats became excited about the sweet gesture, too, and Brooks was eventually clued in to what was going on.

Brooks spoke to the couple and asked the bride-to-be where they planned on honeymooning. She was probably still in shock, and since the pair were barely engaged and not even close to planning their honeymoon, she shrugged and admitted that she had no idea. Being well-traveled, Brooks made a split-second decision and told them if they picked romantic Hawaii that he and wife Trisha Yearwood would foot the bill! The crowd went wild, and Brooks added with a wink, “Nobody else can get engaged tonight.”

KHOU reports that the lucky couple is Chelsea Townsend and Drew Bargsley. Bargsley excitedly posted on Facebook following the event, saying, “When you shut down the ENTIRE GARTH CONCERT proposing to the love of your life…OOPS.”
