1. Volente Beach Waterpark

Volente Beach Waterpark is located on the beautiful shores of Lake Travis in the Texas Hill Country. The park features an exclusive beach with three volleyball courts, an upscale restaurant, a beach bar and grill for those who want a more casual dining experience, and a wide-range of exciting rides the whole family will enjoy. A Pirate Ship themed area where children can roam and explore, Gator’s Crossing challenges kids to jump from float to float using ropes, the Lazy Lagoon features a waterfall in the middle where guest can cool off, and the Sidewinder is a fast-paced water ride that is sure to thrill kids of all ages.
2. Shoreclub Restaurant

Shore Club Restaurant is the perfect spot after a fun day at the waterpark. The Tiki Bar boasts frosty beverages, cool chaise lounges, a swim-up bar, live music, and a nice lake view. As the sun begins to set, head upstairs to the restaurant for a wonderful dinner of hand-cut steaks or fresh seafood on the outside deck and enjoy a gorgeous sunset over Lake Travis.
3. Lake Travis Zipline Adventures

Lake Travis Zipline Adventures offers a three hour experience with five thrilling zips ranging from 250 feet to over 2,800 feet long. Enjoy awesome views of Lake Travis and the Hill Country between zips as your trained tour guide provides education and fun throughout the nature walks and challenging hikes. For your grand finale, launch off a cliff twenty stories high and zip 2800 feet across beautiful Lake Travis. For the brave and young at heart, prepare yourself for the adventure of a lifetime. 4. Anderson Mill

Anderson Mill offers a unique taste of Texas Hill Country history. If you’re interested in the early settlement saga of the Hill Country, this is the most authentic you will get. Beautifully maintained grounds feature a restored/working watermill, interactive demonstrations and historical artifacts exhibits. It is only open one day per month, the last Sunday of each month, so check ahead of time for the correct day. The drive is very scenic, with a park on the lake just down the road for a picnic with the kids.
5. GrandAnne’s on the Lake

A darling, quaint home just 30 minutes from Austin, yet secluded in a lush setting of beautiful trees and a relaxing rolling landscape.
