Fabulous Fall Festivals Taking Place in the Texas Hill Country

Crisp air, pumpkins, leaves changing color, and falling into these great Hill Country fall festivals! There are so many great fall festivals around the Hill Country that are great for the entire family. Grab your blanket and spiced pumpkin latte and head out to some of these great festivals this fall.

1. The Ridge Marketplace Fall Festival- October 21, 2017, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Café at the Ridge/The Ridge Marketplace is one of Kerrville’s hidden gems, a unique experience to say the least. The Ridge has multiple layers to it, and you might not know this if you don’t check it out for yourself! Other than the Café, there is the Wild Flour Bakery at the Ridge and the Gardens at the Ridge! Come out for the Fall Festival, grab a bite to eat, head out to the Gardens for some great Fall fun! The Gardens at the Ridge is mystical, stunning, and relaxing, where you can find great plants, planters, unique garden décor in the gift shop and so much more! There will be activities all throughout the Garden area such as a tattoo booth, crafts, games, caramel apples, pumpkin decorating, giant tic-tac-toe, giant bubble stand, washer toss, stacked can toss, and a pumpkin patch with assorted pumpkins to choose from. 2. Oktoberfest – Downtown Fredericksburg, October 6-8, 2017

Get out your lederhosen and head to Fredericksburg to celebrate the German Heritage at Oktoberfest! This is a full three-day event full of fun and entertainment. There will be great music, excellent food and beverages, dancing, 42 tournaments, and so much more! Taking place on Friday from 6 p.m. to midnight, Saturday from 10 a.m. to midnight, and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m., admission costs are $8 for adults, $1 for children 7-12, and free for children six and under.
