Angry Dodgers Fan Jumps Into the Astros Bullpen During Game
Security doesn’t care how excited or upset you feel about the game, they don’t want you near the bullpen, and they certainly don’t want to have a “discussion” about it. One man learned that lesson the hard way on Wednesday. USA Today reports that during the second World Series game, a 41-year-old Dodgers fan jumped over the railing to continue his verbal fight with a security guard below.
As soon as the man fell into the bullpen, security and an Astros coach swarmed him so he wouldn’t be able to do any harm. No one knows what his exact plan of action was. Chron.com quotes Houston Astros reliever Luke Gregerson as saying, “Security got there really quick, and it was like there were 30 of them. Oh, my God, other than that it was nothing. I think the guy was mad at the security guy or something. He wanted to fight him.”
The man was quickly taken out of the stadium in handcuffs and charged with “…a misdemeanor battery (against a security guard) and an additional charge of field intrusion.”
If you want to see the incident, check out the video below. But be forewarned that there’s strong language used, and you might get a headache from rolling your eyes at this ridiculous Dodgers fan.
