Fastball: Rockin’ River Road Ice House with Everclear and Vertical Horizon

The two-time Grammy nominated, Austin-based band, Fastball, is coming to a Hill Country Venue near you: River Road Ice House in New Braunfels! The headliner for the concert event is Everclear, and Vertical Horizon will also be performing. The concert is scheduled for Friday, June 23, 2017, at 8:30 p.m. Alternative, rock, pop band, Fastball, formerly known as Magneto U.S.A., is most famous for ‘The Way” and “Out of My Head.” Their biggest hit,”The Way” was featured as one of the top 100 songs of the 90s ranked by VH1.

The band formed in Austin, Texas in 1995 and has around 20 years of musical milestones under its belt. Fastball continues to be celebrated globally. These guys know how to work a crowd and adjust according to their audience. They tend to rock out at larger venues and mix it up with ballads at more intimate, smaller venues.

Fastball’s Grammy Nominations in 1999 were for “Best Rock Performance by a Duo or Group with Vocals,” and the other was “Best Long Form Video” for “The Way.” The band has remained faithful to being a guitar-centric rock band throughout the years. After an extensive tour in Amsterdam, Fastball is back in the United States and recently released a new album titled “Step in Light,” released recently on May 19th.
