HGTV’S powerhouse couple, Chip and Joanna Gaines, of the widely popular Fixer Upper series, was in Houston this past week promoting Joanna’s new line of furniture with Star Furniture. Lovingly named the Magnolia Home collection, it is a variety of styles from Farmhouse, to French-inspired, industrial, Boho, Primitive and Traditional as mentioned by Star Furniture’s website.

Fans wrapped around the store on Thursday, July 28th for a chance to meet and greet Chip and Joanna Gaines. Some had arrived as early as 10 a.m. to secure their time with the Fixer Upper couple, who wouldn’t be out to greet guest until 5:30 that evening.
With autographed pictures in hand, which Star Furniture employees where handing out along with coupons for $50 office their next purchase, folks were elated to see their favorite HGTV couple up close. They were even given a postcard with a chance to register to win a Magnolia House weekend. Magnolia House is another part of the Magnolia family enterprises located in the historic area of McGregor in Waco, Texas. It’s the vision of Chip and Joanna to create a beautiful place for out-of-town visitors to stay after visiting the Magnolia Market at the Silos.

The furniture collection will be available in Star Furniture stores around the Hill Country such as Austin and San Antonio as well. This Fixer Upper mega sensation has much more up their sleeves besides this new addition to their Magnolia family. With Season 3 wrapped up and Season 4 currently being filmed, the couple will also be coming out with a Lifestyle Magazine set to hit shelves in October. Meredith Corporation will partner with Chip and Joanna to share the Magnolia brand through stories on food, decorating, and family to name a few.
