Armour-Eckrich Meats in Junction City, Kansas has recalled close to 100,000 pounds of precooked sausage products. The food distributor has identified that these products may contain metal. Although no injuries have yet been reported from consumption of these products, the company is taking all necessary precautions to mitigate any issues that may arise.

Announcing the recall on Wednesday, May 24, the Junction City food distribution company had shipped the products throughout Kansas, Indiana, Texas, Arkansas, Louisiana, and Oklahoma. As a result, all grocery and convenience stores that sell the products have removed them from their shelves.
