Thank You Note Moves Fort Worth Police to Reach Out to Author

By  |

Fort Worth police officers were thankful to receive an incredibly kind thank you note left on a patrol car from a stranger left. On the Fort Worth Police Association Facebook page, they posted the letter along with a message asking the author, Maddison W., to please send them a private message so they could reach out with appreciation.

Fox4News quoted the letter:

“To whoever drives this squad car,

Thank you. I am in awe that there are people like you who choose to get up and put on your uniform everyday. You are courageous, you are faithful, and I pray that my kids grow up to be like the kind of person it takes to be you just a few hours a day.

Whoever you are, I pray for you every day and for men and women just like you. I pray you and your family is [sic] protected, but most of all that you are blessed for the work that you do.

There is a God who adores you. He died for you and HE is proud of you.

Keep on keepin’ on.

Madison W.”

The next day, the Fort Worth Police Association page had an update saying that they were able to get in touch with Maddison. Her note touched a lot of people and serves as a reminder of how important it is to let people know you’re thankful for them.
