A Peek Into the Amazing Future of Grocery Stores
A new video from Futurism shows an intriguing design for cutting edge grocery stores. The idea was developed by Russian inventor Semenov Dahir Kurmanbievich.
Imagine pulling into your own little station, using buttons to revolve shelving around to find your items, and then placing your goods on a conveyor belt. You’d drive up to a cashier who would bag your groceries and scan your credit card, then you would just drive away!
Some viewers of the video say it would make the customer look “lazy,” but this method is genius when you just need a few items. You’d be through the process in about five minutes!
Inventory would need constant updating so staff would work inside a warehouse above the drive-thrus.
