Andretti Indoor Karting & Games will open its first location in Texas near I-10 and 1604 in San Antonio alongside Top Golf and iFly (an indoor skydiving center). According to MySA.com, the go-carting facility will feature 100,000 feet of fun with indoor go-cart tracks, an arcade, a restaurant, a full bar, an area dedicated to virtual reality experiences, and, of course, a laser tag arena. The entertainment complex offers something for everyone!

Currently, Andretti Indoor Karting & Games has three locations, two in Georgia where the company is based, and one in Orlando. According to the Yelp reviews written regarding the Roswell, Georgia location, the overall consensus is that the entertainment center is a lot of fun, but can be very expensive for large families. It seems like more of a special occasion location than a place one would visit every weekend during the summer.

If you’re wondering how quickly you can go while go-carting, the company’s website states that their junior carts can hit up to 15 mph while the carts on their adult track will go up to 35 mph. Since the cars go rather fast, Andretti Indoor Karting & Games doesn’t allow any sort of nudging or bumping. “These are racing Superkarts that go high speeds . We want guests to come in and experience how much fun it is to race. We will not tolerate bumping, aggressive driving, or anyone causing accidents on purpose. We strictly enforce the rules for everyone’s safety,” they write.
