Guillermo Rodriguez is a beloved crewmember of the “Jimmy Kimmel Live” show. ABC.com writes that this late show regular was once a security guard for the production when it began in 2003 but caught the attention of Kimmel and became an occasional correspondent. Once he was on TV, he quickly became too popular for his regular security gig. Now, Guillermo is seen as an integral part of the heart of the show as he leads “Guillermo’s Hollywood Round-Up” and participates in fun excursions like riding the scary Los Angeles Skyslide.

Recently, The Monitor writes that Guillermo was featured on “Jimmy Kimmel Live” for an appearance that didn’t have anything to do with the show. As an invited celebrity, Guillermo was front and center at the McAllen Holiday Parade! The largest city in Hidalgo County, and the 21st most populated in the Lone Star State, McAllen’s holiday festivities are a tremendous display of helium balloons, epic floats, and great performances!

While Chis Pratt was filling in for hosting duties for Kimmel, they showed a clip of the parade where Guillermo excitedly waved to the crowd at McAllen Veterans Memorial Stadium. Though Pratt poked fun at the unusual-looking float Guillermo was featured on, the ex-security guard looked to be having a great time in Texas. Watch the clip recorded and posted onto the City of McAllen, TX Twitter account below.
