Guy Fieri is Opening Up a Restaurant in the Texas Rangers Complex
Anyone who’s ever tuned into the Food Network will recognize Guy Fieri’s signature spiky platinum blond hair and love for over-the-top American food. Now, the Diners, Drive-Ins and Dives star wants to make his mark on the Texas Rangers Complex with a new eatery.
Groundbreaking on Fieri’s newest restaurant will start next week in Arlington, Texas. According to the Star-Telegram, Fieri aims to officially open the location in 2018, and the eatery will reside inside “Texas Live!, the $250 million entertainment and hotel complex across from Globe Life Park.”
GuideLive quoted a press release about the project. It explained that the restaurant will be “a one-of-a-kind, flagship restaurant concept … developed specifically with Texas Live! in mind….’We’re going to knock it out of the park,’ Fieri said.”
This isn’t Fieri’s first venture in Texas. He owns a location of Guy’s Burger Joint inside the Dallas music venue, the Gexa Energy Pavilion. Since that restaurant is only open when a concert is taking place, it doesn’t get to fully express Fieri’s more-is-more attitude when it comes to food. The Texas Rangers Complex location will aim to let every patron indulge in some Texas-sized plates paired with some southern hospitality.
