H-E-B recalls Creamy Creations Brand Ice Cream

The well-known Texas Hill Country-based grocery chain, H-E-B, has issued a voluntary recall on their Creamy Creations Caramel Pecan Turtle ice cream due to possible foreign material in the product.

According to a press release issued by the company, “There is a possible presence of wood pieces in the product.”

“H-E-B is committed to the quality of its products. There have been no reports of illness,” according to the recall notice on the Food and Drug Administration website.

Creamy Creations® Premium Ice Cream is known as a “true Texas favorite for years,” according to the H‑E‑B website. “Enjoy all the deliciously smooth and creamy flavors.” Except the Caramel Pecan Turtle.

The recall only impacts the H-E-B Creamy Creations Caramel Pecan Turtle ice cream with the following sell by dates:

-April 20
-May 10
-June 7
-July 18

Customers who purchased the product can return it to the store for a full refund.
