Entertainment Weekly recently identified that the Hallmark channel will be releasing 33 original Christmas movies over the course of the holiday season, which is a record compared to its 26 from the previous year. So, get your gal pals together, or rope in the family for some fun nights of film fests, popcorn, and season’s greetings!

A film directed by Jennifer Love Hewitt (hailing from Waco, here in the great state of Texas) called “When Calls the Heart” (2013), has spawned a series as well as a new two-hour Hallmark Christmas movie release you’re going to want to keep an eye out for. According to Country Living, it features Alexa and Carlos PenaVega (a true married couple) starring together, and chances are good, you’re going to want to tune in!
