Helotes in February: 3 Things You Must Do
“Where is Helotes, and what can I do there?” Good question. You’ve heard of San Antonio, right? Well, Helotes is about 30 minutes northwest of San Antonio in the Texas Hill Country. Not far from Six Flags Fiesta Texas. Early days of Texas history indicate several Native American tribes occupied the area. If you hike, you may find arrowheads. Helotes received the honor in 2013 as the best small town in Texas to raise kids by the Bloomberg Business Week. Now that you know where to find Helotes, let’s talk about the fun things to do there. Here are three things for February.
1. Go Dancing at a Texas Historic Landmark. You may see someone you know.

3. February 8, 2017: Ladies Night Out
Need a night out? The shops in Old Time Helotes stay open just a bit later on the second Wednesday of every month for the ladies to enjoy a little shopping, wine, and, of course, fun!
