These are what many consider the “dog days of summer” — the hottest days of the year in the Texas Hill Country. By now, we are all going a little stir crazy sitting inside waiting for it to cool down. No worries! Just because it’s hot outside, doesn’t mean there aren’t any cool events to get you out of the house.

Stargazing at the Park Get a little closer to the stars of the Texas sky with the astronomers from the San Antonio Astronomical Association. If you have never participated in a stargazing event hosted by Texas Parks and Wildlife, then you are in for a real treat. Bring the kiddos! The will love every minute.
