As the cooler, autumn air approaches Texas, people all over the state are beginning to head to arts and craft shows to browse, marvel at the crafts and possibly take their minds off of the hardships that our great state has been dealt in the past few months. If you’re looking for the next big arts and crafts show to attend, then you simply must go to Dripping Springs, Texas for the fifth annual Hill Country Ranch: Artisan Faire, hosted by Texas Market Guide. The event will be held at Dripping Springs Ranch Park, (1042 Event Center Drive Dripping Springs, TX – across from Dripping Springs Elementary) on Saturday, October 14 and Sunday, October 15. The show hours are 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.

Building Strong Communities

Vendors from around the state will show a staggering variety of items such as candles, clothing, gourmet foods, jewelry, Texas handmade, art, gifts, hand-crafted pottery, metal art, garden-related gifts, photography, and so much more – you simply have to see it to believe it! There’s not a better way to get your holiday shopping off to a great start than by visiting an arts and crafts fair such as this.

When you purchase directly from the vendors – and, oftentimes, the very hands that made your item – you’re making a difference in the community and in the life of these resilient crafters who continue to create their art, even in times of struggle. The prosperity of crafters, like those who will be at the Hill Country Ranch Artisan Faire, helps to build strong communities and interpersonal relationships. It just doesn’t get much better than that!

Texas Market Guide aims to give back to the communities that host these shows by contributing to the local food pantry at each event. They host many shows a year and scour the state (all 268,601 square miles of it!) for the most interesting and diverse vendors, in order to bring you the highest quality crafted treasures.

Admission to the Hill Country Ranch: Artisan Faire is $4.00; however, customers can save $1.00 on their admission by bringing a canned good or nonperishable food item (such as peanut butter, tuna, macaroni & cheese, rice, etc.) as a donation to the Helping Hands Food Pantry. Admission is good for both days and kids under 12 are always free.
