Austin’s Trail of Lights celebration provides a great time for the whole family at Zilker Park, but this year, there’s a new holiday lights jamboree in town. Austin 360 writes that the Circuit of the Americas that sits on the southeast side of town (best known for hosting the F1 races) will hold their first Winter Wonderland in 2017.

On the Winter Wonderland website, COTA lists exciting sights such as the “…Tunnel of Lights, Circuit of Lights Track Walk, movies on the lawn, Human Snow Globe, Singing Trees, petting zoo (outside), Vendor Village, and Santa’s Workshop.” There will also be additional activities that cost a little extra like a skating rink, camel rides, and even a hot air balloon float!

This Winter Wonderland in Texas begins on December 1 and runs through the rest of the month (with some dark days at the beginning, check out the calendar before choosing a date). Tickets are already on sale at Ticketmaster. Pricing is $16 for each person over the age of 5, and there are currently deals available when buying a four-pack. While there’s plenty of parking at the track, the lots aren’t always convenient. Purchase a parking pass if you’re hoping to get a nearby spot.
