Holiday Light Maze to Open Up Soon in Arlington, Texas
WFAA writes that soon Arlington will have the world’s largest light maze when Enchant opens on November 24 and runs through December 31. The holiday event has over 2.5 million Christmas lights illuminating a maze of stunning Instagram-worthy sights. Also, they’ll have a four-inch-thick ice skating rink in the open air. According to Gabe Hoffart, the Canadian businessman that brought this event to Texas, “We take ice seriously in Canada…The biggest problem with starting the ice was actually getting the base coat of the ice done. Now that we have the base going, even with the weather being in the mid 70’s, the ice is perfectly fine.”
On the Enchant website (where tickets are already available), it’s explained that the maze and rink are located in Globe Life Park. And while you’re checking out the activities, plan to do some Christmas shopping at the market with over 80 vendors. And grab a cup of cocoa from the food trucks before either heading to the enclosed Great Hall to take a seat or watch live music on the Main Stage. Enchant is truly an impressively large event!
While you’re going through the maze of lights, be sure to look for Santa’s nine missing reindeer, and stop to take beautiful photos.
