All aboard Fredericksburg’s decorated vintage style trolley to experience the Holiday Evening Food and Wine Tour, held November through January. Enjoy tastings at three wineries, paired with local foods as thousands of lights and holiday window displays bring out the Yuletide spirit! Granite Shoals has a delightful walk-through holiday display, located at the corner of H.A. Barnett Drive and RR 1431. Beginning at dusk from December 6th to January 1st, this bright spot is created each year from a small patch of open space by a group of volunteers.

Johnson City is serious about holiday displays! Their Lights Spectacular runs from November 29th through January 5th, and includes over one million lights. Bulb hosts are the Pedernales Electric Coop, the fully light-draped Courthouse, and the shops along town square. Or experience Hill Country Christmas from November 23rd to January 5th, 6-11 p.m. at 1685 U.S. 281 North, where Dex Haynes and his family will be featured on ABC’s “The Great Christmas Light Fight” this year. Snap Junction’s famous Deer Horn Tree as seasonally decorated, then visit the Christmas Trail of Lights at the City Park. Displays illuminate on December 1st and run through December 26th. Schedule your visit to participate in other fun holiday activities such as the Annual Lighted Christmas Parade. Don’t miss this awesome lighting!

Lampasas hosts Christmas On the Creek, from December 14th to January 1st, 5 to 8 p.m. at W.M. Brook Park. Highlights include Santa’s Village, giant 12 Days of Christmas Cards, a larger-than-life lighted nativity, and beautiful light displays along the banks of Sulphur Creek between Hwy 190 (Key Avenue) and Hwy 281.

Stroll along the Llano River while gazing at the Starry Starry Nights Lighted Christmas Park. Open November 29th thru December 31st each night from 6 to 9 p.m. Located within Badu Park, 300 Legion Dr., Llano, TX 78643.
