Granite Shoals has a delightful walk-through holiday display, located at the corner of H.A. Barnett Drive and RR 1431. Beginning at dusk from December 6th to January 1st, this bright spot is created each year from a small patch of open space by a group of volunteers.
Johnson City is serious about holiday displays! Their Lights Spectacular runs from November 29th through January 5th, and includes over one million lights. Bulb hosts are the Pedernales Electric Coop, the fully light-draped Courthouse, and the shops along town square. Or experience Hill Country Christmas from November 23rd to January 5th, 6-11 p.m. at 1685 U.S. 281 North, where Dex Haynes and his family will be featured on ABC’s “The Great Christmas Light Fight” this year.
