Did you catch our Houston Astros players José Altuve, George Springer, and Alex Bregman on a Saturday Night Live (SNL) this past Saturday, November 4th? They did a great job hamming it up with cast member Leslie Jones on “SNL’s” Weekend Update.

The Emmy Award-winning late-night comedy show on NBC is a longstanding showcase of memorable sketches that have launched careers of several of its cast. Jones can be seen in a remake of “Ghostbusters” that hit the big screen in 2016.

“SNL” is one of the longest-running shows from NBC since its debut in 1975. Many sketches are among some of the most talked about comedic skits till this day. Who could forget team Spartan as Will Ferrell and Cheri Oteri delighted audiences with their cheerleading acts? Or the best newscast in town with some of the funniest highlights of “Weekend Update” with Tina Fey and Jimmy Fallon.

The Astros skit ranks right up there with some of the best guests to show up in a scene and catch the host off guard. The audience couldn’t stop laughing as Jones and Altuve cuddled together for a moment as he sat on her lap. The video above from the shows YouTube channel will have you hitting replay a few times as you can’t help but laugh out loud at the comedy genius of Jones as she mingles with Springer, Altuve, and Bregman’s banter.
