2021 Houston Auto Show (HAS) Moves to May 19-23

The Houston Auto Show (HAS), usually held in January each year, moves to May 19-23 for 2021 for the first-ever Houston ‘Summer’ Auto Show. The HAS features a curated selection of some of your favorite brands in this limited-edition event. The auto show is held in Halls A-D at NRG Center and includes an RV and boat display for the first time.

The Houston Auto Show, produced by the Houston Automobile Dealers Association and presented by the Houston Chronicle, features carmakers of all types. It offers an opportunity to test drive a select variety of models under strict safety conditions.

Auto participants include such brands as Aston Martin, BMW, Bentley, Cadillac, Chevrolet, Chrysler, Dodge, Fiat, Ford, Genesis, Hyundai, JEEP, Kia, Lexus, Lincoln, Lotus, Mazda, McLaren, Mitsubishi, Nissan, Porsche, Ram, Rolls-Royce, Toyota, Subaru, Volkswagen, and Volvo.

Highlights of the show include the new Ford Bronco and Kia Carnival, plus the 2022 Jeep Grand Wagoneer. Also on exhibit are the 2021 Jeep Grand Cherokee L. The Jeep display also features the 2021 Jeep Gladiator Texas Trail edition, the 2021 Jeep Wrangler 4xe, and the 2021 Jeep Wrangler 392.

“This first-ever summer auto show has been exciting to produce,” said Roger Elswick, Chairman of the Houston Automobile Dealers Association and President of Community Auto Group in Baytown. “With the help of manufacturers, local dealer groups, and individual dealerships, we’ve selected a wide variety of vehicles for guests to experience.”

Family Friendly Entertainment

Family-friendly entertainment exhibits like Camp Jeep, the Ram Test Track, and the Ford Raptor simulator are featured at HAS. A selection of classic vehicles with a summer vibe, like a 1934 Ford Woody Wagon and a 1955 Porsche 356 Continental, are also on exhibit.

SportsFishing Yacht Sales exhibit features a variety of models ranging from top-of-the-line bay boats to monster offshore fishing boats ($100,000 to one million dollars). Climb aboard to see their luxury center consoles, high-speed motors, and the best in the bay fishing options, with such brands as Contender, Yellowfin, Yamaha, and Tidewater.

Demontrond RV of Houston will also bring a new RV display to the Houston Auto Show. See brands such as Thor Motor Coach, Forest River, Winnebago, and Entegra. Team Mancuso will display two-wheeled exhilaration with their offering of Harley-Davidson motorcycles.
