Inaugural Texas Hill Country Camping and Music Festival Announced

The Texas Hill Country can soon call itself home to a brand new music and camping festival this fall, and fans are psyched. Announcing the Waterloo Music Festival, taking place September 7 – 9 at the Carson Creek Ranch in Austin, organizers have stated that the lineup is intended to bring “…the jam community together.”

Those in attendance are being promised a weekend of camping coupled with great jams from such artists as The String Cheese Incident (headliners for the three-day event) as well as Joe Russo’s Almost Dead (JRAD), which has been identified by local media as the first Texas event for the band.

One of the most recent music festival to take place here in the Texas Hill Country was the iHeartCountry Festival, which happened on May 5 in Austin. Featuring loads of the industry’s largest hit-makers, it brought a great influx of fans into the Hill Country as well as a huge boost to the area’s economy.
