The results of The iPhone Photography Awards (IPPAWARDS) are in, and the winners will astound you with their professional-level photographs!

Thousands of entries rolled in from around the world for judgment in 19 different categories. Winners received items like bars of gold and Apple watches. And every single, gorgeous photo was taken by an iPhone or iPad with no help from Photoshop.

The first place Photographer of the Year picture features a 70-year-old man nose-to-beak with an eagle. Winning artist Siyuan Niu of China spoke about her piece, “The brave and wise Khalkhas live along the mountains in the south of Xinjiang and are companions with the eagles. They regard eagles as their children and train them for many years to hunt.”

The winners vary greatly as the second place Photographer of the Year, Polish artist Patryk Kuleta, entered “Modern Cathedrals.” This photo presents an impressionistic, and almost unrecognizable, portrayal of urban architecture.

Surf through their website to view all of the winning photos from 2008 until 2016. The third place winner of the 2016 Animals category is one of my favorites.

If you have an iPhone or iPad, enter a piece in next year’s contest. The deadline is March 17, 2017, so you have plenty of time to snap the perfect shot.
