LCS, which is open to students of all faiths and nationalities, is the oldest private school in the greater Lubbock area and began its service to families in 1954. Its initial class offerings at the current campus were held in 1958, graduating its first high school class in 1965. The school is neither governed nor subsidized by a church, notwithstanding the fact that it was founded and is directed by members of Churches of Christ. The school offers classes for pre-kindergarten through grade 12 and is fully accredited through the Texas Private School Accreditation Commissions (TEPSAC) and AdvancEd. Tickets, as well as sponsorships for the school’s fundraising event featuring Kirk Cameron, are available through the LCS Development Office at (806) 796-8700.
