A picture that was recently posted to the Lake Casa Blanca International State Park Facebook account showing two Texas fishermen who caught a 45-pound blue catfish is causing quite a stir.

The photo was posted to the park’s social media account on November 26, showing the gigantic fish being held by the two men, and measuring four feet in length. To date, there have been 720 reactions and more than 1,000 shares of the picture of Danny Aguilar and Hector Hernandez and their amazing catch, which they made on November 22.

Lake Casa Blanca is located in Laredo, approximately a 2.5-hour drive south of San Antonio. It features many land activities such as hiking, mountain biking, and camping, together with great water activities like boating, swimming, water skiing, and fishing (obviously!) Although this blue catfish isn’t a record-holder for the state of Texas (the largest caught to date measured 58 inches and weighed just over 121 pounds out of Lake Texoma!) it appears to be a great source of pride for the fishermen in the photo. Aguilar and Hernandez had a trophy catch for sure, and one that has caused there to be some envy among the ranks. After tagging his friends on the post, one commenter said quite reasonably said, “Man we need to step our game up.”
