Last week, Little Debbie tweeted out a photo of four of the company’s sweet snacks that have a special place in many Americans’ hearts. The caption simply read “Which one?” while the photo said, “One gotta go forever…” with Christmas Tree Cakes, Nutty Buddy bars, Oatmeal Creme Pies, and Honey Buns pictured below it.

Immediately, people began tweeting back. Even famed Goosebumps writer R.L. Stine tweeted, “Save the oatmeal cream pies. I need them!” adding that they help him with his writing process. The company’s debatable post accumulated over 7.4K replies with defenses for each of the snacks. “We didn’t say it would be easy #OneGottaGo,” Little Debbie tweeted the next day after the upset.

As Today.com writes, the post was aimed at creating a debate over their snacks and falling in line with the popular #OneGottaGo Twitter meme, and the company had no intention of retiring one of the sweets. But many people didn’t know about the trend, so the post seemed serious and misleading, especially since they didn’t clear up the matter the next day. Two days later, a spokesperson told Today that Little Debbie fans shouldn’t worry, and the tweet was all in good fun. Everyone can breathe a sigh of relief.
