Little Girl Survives a Texas Goose Attack and Lives to Laugh About It

Geese: you just never know what will happen around them. This little girl learned the hard way to steer clear in this Texas goose attack.

Little Summer Gidden, just five years old from Spring, Texas, was chasing geese with her friends around the block and having a good time while her older sister, Stevie, watched. What followed was sheer terror and hilarity when an angry goose descended upon the group of friends.

Unfortunately for Summer, she was the slowest and was the victim of the heaviest tug of hair from this Texas goose attack. Her sister Stevie took the following photos that have since gone viral after she posted them to Twitter.

Stevie also noted that their neighbors were standing near the group and immediately came to Summer’s aid and that she did not suffer alone on the sidewalk while Stevie snapped photos.

Summer told KHOU that “it’s funny” after the fact and that she wasn’t bruised, scratched, or hurt.
