Today’s the Last Day to Snag Low Price Southwest Tickets

Ending at 11:59 p.m. tonight, Southwest Airlines is offering major discounts on certain nonstop flights. For Texans, these flights leave out of Amarillo, Austin, Corpus Christi, Dallas, El Paso, Harlingen, Houston, Lubbock, Midland, and San Antonio. Though the list of flights out of some cities are limited, (for example, Corpus Christi flights are only available to Houston), major cities like Houston and Dallas have quite lengthy lists.

Check out the destinations from each airport on the Southwest website here, but KXAN provides some details to keep in mind. The discounts only apply to travel dates between August 22 and December 13, not including Fridays or Saturdays. Also, if the itinerary is changed, fares might go slightly up.

Keep in mind that the prices listed are for one-way tickets. And as it reads in the fine print, “Fares are nonrefundable but may be applied toward future travel on Southwest Airlines, as long as reservations are canceled at least ten minutes prior to the scheduled departure.”

These deals could decide your next vacation! If you’re traveling from Austin, pick up a ticket to Ft Lauderdale for only $73, or head to Orlando from Houston for only $100. You just have to act quickly!
