Luke Bryan announced on Sunday (January 22) that he will be joining the festivities at Super Bowl LI in Houston. The country superstar was excited to make the announcement that he’ll be singing the Star Spangled Banner at the event on February 5, which is being hosted at the NRG Stadium in Houston.

Bryan isn’t alone in terms of big-name performers at this year’s Super Bowl. Lady Gaga, who did Bryan’s upcoming job at last year’s game, will be performing during the halftime show. Fox network will be airing the game live from NRG Stadium on February 5, and Bryan’s rendition of the national anthem will take place just before the 6:30 p.m. ET kickoff between the New England Patriots and the Atlanta Falcons.

Bryan tweeted a video post on Sunday to make the exciting announcement. Other country superstars that have had the opportunity of performing the national anthem at previous Super Bowls include Faith Hill and Garth Brooks. Country music fans throughout the nation are looking forward to seeing Luke’s big game national anthem performance, and the fans in Houston will have a front-row seat!
