What happens when a chef announces on social media that he’s hosting a special “magical” feast, complete with food and drinks inspired by a wildly popular book series featuring young wizards at a magical academy? Tickets for the event sell out in a matter of days – that’s what. This is what happened recently when Chef Paul Schroeder announced the “Wizard’s Feast: Magical Feast and Costume Contest” set to take place in Seguin, Texas on November 4 at the Aumont Saloon.

Tickets for this magical wizard event will include a Potion Creation Station where guests can create their own essential oil mixes, “magical” crystals, a costume contest, and a social hour featuring exquisite drinks guests are sure to enjoy. The evening’s main course will have several entrées from which to choose but Chef Schroeder hasn’t revealed what they will be. He did say there will be multiple desserts, including “Treacle Tart,” which is everyone’s favorite wizard’s personal dessert of choice.

Tickets for the November 4 event remain sold out, but from the looks of Schroeder’s social media, there are plans for this feast to happen again in 2018. This is a kid-friendly event, but not for those under age 5. There will be cocktails, potions, and libations of the alcoholic and non-alcoholic variety – something to please everyone. So, don’t be a “Muggle” and miss out on your next chance to attend this event. To stay updated on the dates of future “Wizard’s Feasts,” follow Chef Schroeder on Facebook.
