Sean Osbourn, a 24-year-old Cypress man, put Texas on the list of places where people have officially bowled three perfect games in a row of 300 during a United States Bowling Congress-certified competition. His final score was 900 points! It’s an incredible feat that only 29 people have ever achieved.

Bowl.com writes that Osbourn wasn’t even planning on playing in the Copperfield Bowl’s early league session on Monday night, but he was called in as a replacement. He didn’t think he would break any records that night as his previous high score was 800.

“I never thought it was (possible). I always see people who have done it, and I’m like, ‘How could they do that? How did that happen?’ And I found out for myself. It just happens,” Osbourn said to KHOU, grinning ear to ear.

He told Bowl.com that he was playing on his “good lane” at Copperfield Bowl. He also noted that it helped to play during a not-so-busy time of night and on a league with only three players where he could maintain focus easily.

The score to beat in Texas was a very close 899 bowled by Bill Fong of Plano, Texas, in 2010.
