Man Creates Epic Commercial to Sell His Regular Old Car
Eugene Romanovsky posted a YouTube video last month to advertise his old car (a 1996 Suzuki Vitara) that he obviously adores. As Bored Panda writes, instead of placing a simple ad, the Israel-based Latvian visual artist decided to make a two-minute long commercial showing how his SUV can take on any mission.
The video, which has already been viewed over two million times on YouTube, starts off like a normal car commercial, showing the less than shiny car driving through off-road conditions like a stream and rocky ground. Next, the viewer is eased into a few outlandish locals. Starting off with a desert and a rock formation no car could find its way onto, the visual effects take over and lead the viewer through movie scenes, an avalanche, a trip to the moon, and even a deep sea dive. It’s all in a day’s work for this daring 1996 Suzuki Vitara.
In addition to being visually exciting and clever, the video also feels like a symbolic ode to all of the journeys Romanovsky must have taken in his car. Even though it was a “commercial,” the ad also honors what he nostalgically calls his “best friend for 10 years” at the beginning of the video.
