Man Loses 300 Pounds Once He Started Walking to Wal-Mart

At 605 pounds, Pasquale “Pat” Brocco wasn’t happy with his weight. He decided to embark on a physical and mental journey of losing over 300 pounds. Surprisingly, it all began with trips to his local Wal-Mart.

Whenever Brocco felt hungry, instead of driving to a fast food window or eating microwave meals at home, he would walk one mile to Wal-Mart, pick up a meal, walk back a mile and eat it at home. He did this for every meal!

Brocco told ABC News, “You walk to Wal-Mart three times a day, and you end up walking 6 miles. It’s amazing because I never walked 6 miles in my life, and I was doing it every day.”

Two years later, he had to toughen up his workout schedule at the gym with weights and walking at an incline on a treadmill. His body is now completely transformed.

Brocco wrote on his Instagram, “My drug of choice was food, and I abuse it for so many year not knowing the harm I was causing! I abused it to the point of bringing myself close to death. We all make mistakes in life I’m just thankful I had the ability to change, learn and grow from mine!”
