Now in its 17th year, the Mardi Gras Texas Style music festival combines all the food and fun of Mardi Gras with great music. Taking place February 10 in the historic State Fairgrounds in Dallas, 20 top country music acts will be taking multiple stages beginning at 2 p.m. Acts include Cody Johnson, Easton Corbin, Stoney LaRue, Deryl Dodd, Mike Ryan, Koe Wetzel, Zane Williams, The Dirty River Boys, and Prophets and Outlaws.

This one-of-a-kind music festival features five stages, beverages, beads, and “bons temps”-a-plenty. Putting a Texas-sized twist on the traditional Mardi Gras festival, this musical celebration will take over Fair Park with a lineup that features a wide range of artists helping fans enjoy a wild and crazy time. General admission tickets start at $36.50 with a service fee of $5.69 (a special advanced-ticket rate) and range upwards of “Baron VIP” (for those 21 years of age and older) at a cost of $295 with a $17.05 service fee. And, the variances are broad. The latter of the two even allows for the lucky holder to have a face-to-face meet-and-greet with the artist of their choice at the venue!

Special cocktail service and private acoustic sets by event acts are also available on VIP packages, and with the mainstage situated within a climate-controlled building, this event will go ahead, rain or shine. Many festivals are featured on the pages of TexasHillCountry.com, but none appear to have the ability to draw acts the likes of which Mardi Gras Texas Style seems to have, and with consistency, for 17 years. Get out there and celebrate this great time right here in the heart of Texas!
