Filming in South Florida continues through December for Matthew McConaughey, who had the opportunity to enjoy a night out with wife, model Camila Alves, in downtown West Palm Beach at the unveiling of RH West Palm – the flagship store for Restoration Hardware featuring a rooftop restaurant (with a Doughnut Vault), a mural by famed artist RETNA, and estate gardens, together with its upscale home furnishings and décor.

Playing a starring role in the upcoming film entitled “The Beach Bum,” the Texas native looked the part, dressed down in blue jeans while Alves was dressed in a stunning flowing gold gown. The film is presently in production in Miami and co-stars Snoop Dogg and Isla Fisher. Little details have been released other than an open call for extras earlier in the filming process.

Known for traveling with his family (the pair have three children) while on location, McConaughey and Alves attended the Saturday evening event (November 18) which was lauded as “an integration of food, wine, art and design that reflects RH’s quest to revolutionize physical retailing.” Alves was quoted as saying, “It feels very intimate. Even though it’s a big store, when you walk in, it feels very comfortable. You feel like you can sit on the furniture. You can touch. You can feel. It feels very intimate so you don’t feel overwhelmed by it.” Formerly known as Restoration Hardware, the four-story, 80,000-square-foot building is home to an upscale home goods company that features luxurious, modern, timeless furniture, tableware, and textiles, together with lighting that compliments the available home décor.
