Out with the old in with the new, McDonald’s launches “Experience of the Future” as it upgrades 2,500 restaurants throughout 2017. Katy, TX is the first Texas town to experience this overhaul of futuristic McDonald’s going up across the globe.

This is not your momma’s McDonald’s anymore as the company will begin to roll out improvements to create a more inviting and elegant dining experience. Self-service kiosks will replace cashiers along with improved menu options to tantalize your taste buds. Table service and dessert counters will also be a new addition to “building a better McDonald’s, just for you,” shares its YouTube channel.

According to an article by MSN.com, McDonald’s shares hit an all time record when it made its announcement of digital kiosks replacing cashiers. The franchise is set to make its mark into a new age with upgrades placing it into a whole new category of dining experience for its customers. Mobile ordering is also going to be an added feature for nearly 14,000 locations by the end of 2017 according to MSN.com. McDonald’s hopes this newest initiative will drive more patrons into its restaurants and provide them with a more cutting edge dining experience than before.
